Narrative:
Came in close proximity to skydivers. I was monitoring the pittsburgh approach frequency; but did not hear any mention of jumpers at the petersburg airport prior to the incident; possibly because of conversation with my passenger. I think a mile or two no fly restriction should be placed around all jump zones to prevent what could have been a tragic event.
