Narrative:

During takeoff roll aircraft hard bypassed causing a drop in torque; egt; and RPM. I aborted the takeoff and taxied back to [ramp]. We deferred the srl computer and took off after that.for some reason I have had to abort more times in a metro than I have in my entire flying career. If we could make it so this bypass issue was not so prevalent that would reduce a large amount of stress. Continual incidences like this condition your mind to 'just go with it' and troubleshoot after since it's happened so often before. I cannot stress how much that should not be the case. It is frustrating as a pilot to have to continually deal with srl issues.
