Narrative:

We were given clearance to cross arlin intersection at 11,000 and 250 KTS. I told the captain that he was not going to make the crossing at this rate. He was going about 25 KTS less than normal descent speed. So he pushed the nose over to increase descent but would not use the speed brake. Then I said (to clue him in again), you will make the altitude but not the speed. Even this did not seem to phase him so we crossed at 320 KTS. We were not following traffic too close, but normally after arlin intersection we make a 30 degree left turn to join runway 8R localizer, but the controller gave us a 90 degree turn, 'for additional spacing'. The captain did not act as if he cared. I have said several things about his speed below 10,000'. I have contacted professional standards about this matter.
