Narrative:

I was driving [a] belt loader to get it out of the way for the fueler. No problem when I performed the 1st brake stop and while performing the second brake stop the brakes did not take. The belt loader did not come to a complete stop. I had to immediately get off the belt loader to prevent injury and in doing so I landed on my lower back. The belt loader bumper made slight contact with aircraft; outbound crew confirmed no damage and flight went out 5 minutes early.
