Narrative:

3 friends and I planned to take a pleasure flight in the houston area. When asked whether one of the passenger's young cousin (9 yrs old) could accompany, I agreed, with the idea that the cousin could share the bench seat in the rear. Doing this did not exceed weight nor cg limitations, but nevertheless there were not enough seat belts to accommodate all of the passenger. While doing the run-up, the FBO manager confronted me and cancelled my flight. My bad judgement caused the day's problem. Since then, I have counseled with my superiors at my flying school, counseled with my parents, and reread various flight instrument handbooks in order to remind myself of the importance of professional conduct in my career choice.
