Narrative:

On the upwind for closed traffic at about 400 feet the aircraft started to vibrate and cylinder head temperature (cht) indications were about to go yellow. I took the controls and noticed the exhaust gas temperature (egt) temperatures were at 1;500 more specifically egt indication number 3 and 4. I took the controls and asked to land [on opposite direction runway] and the tower allowed me to bring the sr-20 for full stop landing on [opposite direction runway].in the future I can learn to be more cautious on the potential for this event to happen and notice the signs maybe before rotation.
