Narrative:
While on the ground, we discovered that the rudder trim switch would stick in both the left and right positions, thus changing the rudder trim without the pilot's knowledge! I understand that this situation is being investigated as a possible cause of the recent accident. I believe that there should be an aural warning to the crew any time that any of the 3 electric trim systems is activated.

Title: RUDDER TRIM SWITCH ON ADVANCED MLG ALLEGEDLY STUCK IN BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT POSITIONS.
Narrative: WHILE ON THE GND, WE DISCOVERED THAT THE RUDDER TRIM SWITCH WOULD STICK IN BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT POSITIONS, THUS CHANGING THE RUDDER TRIM WITHOUT THE PLT'S KNOWLEDGE! I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS SITUATION IS BEING INVESTIGATED AS A POSSIBLE CAUSE OF THE RECENT ACCIDENT. I BELIEVE THAT THERE SHOULD BE AN AURAL WARNING TO THE CREW ANY TIME THAT ANY OF THE 3 ELECTRIC TRIM SYSTEMS IS ACTIVATED.
