On taxi out to runway 6L; continued to taxi on K; instead of hold at a for departure. Realized shortly after passing. Advised ATC and taxied on displaced portion of 6L to a for departure.busy morning with new checklist procedures and first officer that had only done the procedure once before; myself only my 3rd time.
