Narrative:

While taxiing to the avionics shop at frederick; I encountered a tractor trailer that was parked diagonally in front of the hangar. As I swung right to clear the tractor trailer; my right wing tip hit a power line stabilization cable on the ramp. If I was not fixated on clearing the tractor trailer and been aware of the cable the incident could have been avoided. I was told after the fact that the cable has been hit before by aircraft. My suggestion would be to relocate the power line away from the ramp where aircraft move.
