Narrative:

While at cruise at 22000', controller issued clearance to 'cross 30 northeast of indianapolis at 10000' (we thought), 250 KTS, altimeter 29.--.' our readback included the altitude 10000'. Additionally, when departing FL220 I radioed 'departing FL220 for 1-0-thousand' and was acknowledged. After leveling at 10000' we were informed that our clearance had been to 11000'. Controller stated that there was no conflict, it was 'no problem,' and the we could remain at 10000'. All 3 pilots heard all clrncs and there was no question in our minds as to our clearance. The controllers response leads me to believe that there will be no further pursuance of this matter. Supplemental information from acn 128716: ZID cleared us to descend to 11000' 30 mi out of ind. The captain answered, 'cleared to 10000, 30 out of ind.'
