Narrative:

The piper cub was repositioned approx. 10 feet from the tie-down. Following engine start and warm-up I started to move the cub forward (I was repositioning to the fuel dock only). As the cub started to move forward the right wing of the cub make contact with the left wing of a parked C-172. The cub then rotated to the right and made further contact with the left wing of the C-172; causing damage to both aircraft.
