On missed approach I thought I was told to climb to 2000'. ATC said 1600'. I was told to make an immediate left turn due to a traffic conflict. End of incident. Cause: miscom.

Narrative: ON MISSED APCH I THOUGHT I WAS TOLD TO CLIMB TO 2000'. ATC SAID 1600'. I WAS TOLD TO MAKE AN IMMEDIATE LEFT TURN DUE TO A TFC CONFLICT. END OF INCIDENT. CAUSE: MISCOM.
