Narrative:

Rejected takeoff 18R by 85 knots due to disagreement between first officer (first officer) and captain flight mode annunciator (FMA). First officer called out 'no srs (speed reference system).' exited runway; accomplished checklists and waited for brakes to cool before uneventful 2nd takeoff attempt. ATC gave us a transponder code as we forgot we didn't get a pre departure clearance. I asked first officer to confirm clearance to destination. We were rushed and didn't notice the first officer flight director was in flight path vector. Rejected takeoff; got our sa (situational awareness) back.should have asked the tower for more time i.e.: hold on taxiway to get both pilots back in the loop.
