Narrative:
After takeoff out of dca airport ATC advised us of cessna traffic at 5;500 feet. We were in a climb to 5;000 feet. Just prior to level off we got a TCAS RA that told us to level off. I leveled off and slightly descended following the TCAS commands. We notified ATC. I noticed on the TCAS that he was 500 feet above us.
