Narrative:

During a skydiving demonstration of the certificate of waiver detailed the exit altitude as between 7500 and 13,500 MSL. The climb to altitude of 13,500 was achieved before reaching the drop zone and the climb was continued to 14,000 MSL with the appropriate ATC clearance. It was not until landing I learned the provision of the waiver had listed the jump altitude as below 13,500 MSL. A contributing factor was a history of filing applications for waiver with altitudes to 15,000 MSL. Future problems could be eliminated by thorough review of the certificate of authorization before operation begins.
