Narrative:

Around ctf; we had a lightning strike; took both dc generator's out; we followed the checklist and got them back. We also lost the VOR's; last WX was calling for high ovc skies but when we talked to approach; she told us that they had a new WX that required an ILS approach; so we called company and our dispatcher send us to ZZZ; where the WX was VFR ; and it wasn't required an approach; they gave us vectors because although the ins was still working we were not sure it was giving us reliable information; we landed; taxied to the gate and deplaned the pax with no other incident. On the post flight walk around we didn't observe any damage to the airplane. The lightning strike occurred in an area where no convective activity was showing in the radar; we were in IFR conditions with light rain; occasional moderate but nothing that indicated thunderstorm activity around us.
