Pilot listened on unicom frequency. No other traffic heard. Winds southeast. Accepted clearance from quad city. Checked area. Started to roll on runway 20. Saw an small aircraft Y on base for 10. Small aircraft Y turned final, could not abort takeoff and stopped by intersection, continued to roll staying on runway as long as possible. Takeoff roll intentions announced on unicom, before takeoff roll started. Small aircraft Y aborted landing. WX was marginal. Flight continued. Both frequencys were monitored. IFR flight had just landed on 20.
