Narrative:

During flight from dab to clt, lost 'a' system hydraulic pumps. Second pump was lost 80 mi southwest of clt during descent. Declared emergency and requested fire fighting equipment for landing on runway 18R. Made uneventful landing at clt, taxied clear of the runway on high speed turnoff and had company personnel tow us to the gate.

Narrative: DURING FLT FROM DAB TO CLT, LOST 'A' SYS HYD PUMPS. SECOND PUMP WAS LOST 80 MI SW OF CLT DURING DSCNT. DECLARED EMER AND REQUESTED FIRE FIGHTING EQUIP FOR LNDG ON RWY 18R. MADE UNEVENTFUL LNDG AT CLT, TAXIED CLR OF THE RWY ON HIGH SPD TURNOFF AND HAD COMPANY PERSONNEL TOW US TO THE GATE.
