Narrative: Near FQF 270 Radial at 20 DME; FL360; level cruise flight; passed approximately 100 feet from right wing what appeared to be a weather balloon equipped with a 100-150 feet payload tether; payload orange in color. Reported to Denver Center. They stated previously unreported.
