Narrative:

I had filed an IFR flight plan 1 hour earlier. I took off from an uncontrolled airport, turned north and called approach control to open the IFR plan. Was told to turn left to a heading of 140 degree that I was entering their airspace. (I had set altimeter with their ATIS.) I did as instructed, was given clearance and had an uneventful trip home. I did not realize (remember) they had an arsa as I was concentrating other traffic shooting touch and goes. I was using the IFR chart, the VFR chart was in my passenger's lap. The uncontrolled airport is under the arsa. The controller did not ask me to talk to anyone about my concern of entering the arsa without communication. I was squawking XXXX mode C. He must have known who I was and where I was, to know which way he wanted me to turn. At any rate, I've had several sleepless nights. I don't need or want a citation ever.
