Narrative:
We got high on the slide slope and started a descent to recapture it and had a high sink rate which gave us terrain warning. At that point we did a go-around and got vectors to another approach to a landing.

Title: An A320 Captain executed an IMC go-around in response to an EGPWS TERRAIN warning after he developed a high sink rate to capture the ILS glideslope from above.
Narrative: We got high on the slide slope and started a descent to recapture it and had a high sink rate which gave us TERRAIN WARNING. At that point we did a go-around and got vectors to another approach to a landing.
