Narrative:

We were departing ord receiving vectors as part of the O'hare 8 SID. As the first officer, I was hand flying the aircraft at 5000'. Chicago approach then cleared us to climb and maintain 10,000'. I initiated a climb and at the same time, looked down and set 10,000' in the altitude select window. I then felt the captain exert a strong nose down pressure on the yoke, and looked up in time to see a low wing light aircraft small aircraft pass over our aircraft, missing us by not more than 200' vertical separation. ATC at no time advised us of this traffic.
