Narrative:

Shortly after acceleration height we received a master warning and associated number 1 engine oil annunciation; we discovered the oil pressure dropping rapidly; we declared an emergency; and proceeded immediately to return to the field. As the oil pressure continued to drop we decided to initiate an in-flight shutdown of the number 1 engine and proceeded with the engine failure checklist. The situation ended with a normal landing and contacted dispatch on the ground.
