Narrative:

The aircraft was stopped with the nose of the aircraft over the runway 4L boundary. Ground control cleared us to continue to taxi and now hold short of 4R (the departure runway). There was an aircraft on a 2 1/2 mi final for runway 4L. The clearance originally was to taxi to 4R via the inner, bravo and hold short first officer 4L. To get to runway 4R, bravo crosses runway extensions of 9 and 4L. Both runways are very close together at this point (note diagram). The bravo taxiway after the hold short line is one long black pavement with no additional stoplines nor are the yellow arrows painted where the bravo taxiway crosses those runways, making it difficult to determine when you are crossing the 9/4L runways. This occurred at XA40 local time after pickup at the hotel XB00 with no breakfast available. The sun was low on the horizon and the hold short line is not where you expect it to be located (a considerable distance from the runway intxns). I recommend a red hold short sign be installed on both sides of the hold short lien with flashing yellow lights so attention can be drawn to the sig and line. The yellow arrows on the runway be painted to include the area where the bravo taxiway crosses the runway.

Title: FLT CREW OF LGT TAXIED PAST HOLD LINE, TWR CTLR INTERVENED.

Narrative: THE ACFT WAS STOPPED WITH THE NOSE OF THE ACFT OVER THE RWY 4L BOUNDARY. GND CTL CLRED US TO CONTINUE TO TAXI AND NOW HOLD SHORT OF 4R (THE DEP RWY).
