Narrative:

Flight xx msp ord 21XXZ departed gate. Told to taxi to the northwest corner of the naval rsv ramp because ord had just shut down, delay unknown. Ground said not to block taxiway and that another aircraft would hold there also. I taxied to the northwest corner and as I made my turn the left wing hit a chain link fence. I returned to the gate. Aircraft out of service. There were no taxi lines in ramp area. No lights, flags, etc on the fence. The fence should be lighted. Paint taxi lines or don't park anyone in the area.
