Narrative:

On approach to 31L ILS and just inside final approach fix in VMC; we received an RA to climb. We disconnected the autopilot and complied with the RA. We climbed very briefly before the RA stopped. The target aircraft passed 200-300 ft below us. We advised tower of the RA and descended back to the glide-slope. Tower called the traffic just prior to the RA. Normal approach after recovery. RA received just after hand off from approach control to tower frequency.
