Narrative:

After landing on runway 8L in atlanta hartsfield, we were cleared to cross runway 8R at 'the delta jet base'. Quotations are the words of atl ground control. The problem encountered was finding the proper taxiway after crossing 8R. When you turn off 8L at taxiway B11 and proceed toward 8R you cannot see the taxiway on the other side which is E11. This taxiway angles back at a 45 degree angle and goes down hill making 17 very difficult to see until you are actually on runway 8R. I did not see taxiway E11 before I had turned right onto 8R. I then proceeded down runway 8R and turned off the runway at taxiway D. Some word of caution or NOTAM about the difficulty of 'finding' this particular taxiway (E11) would make pilots aware of the potential problem before getting on runway 8R and then looking for the taxiway?
