Narrative:

Gate X poses a real safety threat to both equipment and persons. When an arriving aircraft parks at gate the plb operator is completely blind as to docking the bridge. The plb operator does not have the ability to have visual contact with the flight deck or crew. Also ramp personnel are not instructed to assist the plb operator to safely maneuver the bridge for proper docking.
