Narrative:

On a flight departing eug for pdx we departed via V-23 as our carrier has always flight planned. About 25 mi out, ATC called us and said that our course was incorrect for our flight planned route as we were cleared. The new routing is eug V-481 cvo V-495. We are usually kept informed about major routing changes, but company did not make special mention of this revision. We did, however, have a printed copy of the new routing in our possession. On significant routing changes, company should list the change in our fcif file (information file).
