Narrative:

Approximately at XX20Z, den tower cleared us to land on runway 26R. While on short final approach, the tower cleared an air carrier to cross runway 26R. At that time the air carrier started to taxi very slowly. Although it had lots of time to cross the active runway, it hesitated and took a very long time to cross the runway. It was the captain's decision at that point to be prepared for a go around in case it became necessary. During landing phase, the captain decided to go around. Tower advised us to execute a go around at the same time. The first officer executed the go around and we crossed over the air carrier while the last portion of the aircraft was clearing the active runway. It was the crew and the tower controller's belief that the air carrier had plenty of time to clear the runway.

Title: WDB MADE MISSED APCH DUE TO ACR TAXIING SLOWLY ACROSS RWY.

Narrative: APPROX AT XX20Z, DEN TWR CLRED US TO LAND ON RWY 26R. WHILE ON SHORT FINAL APCH, THE TWR CLRED AN ACR TO CROSS RWY 26R. AT THAT TIME THE ACR STARTED TO TAXI VERY SLOWLY. ALTHOUGH IT HAD LOTS OF TIME TO CROSS THE ACTIVE RWY, IT HESITATED AND TOOK A VERY LONG TIME TO CROSS THE RWY. IT WAS THE CAPT'S DECISION AT THAT POINT TO BE PREPARED FOR A GAR IN CASE IT BECAME NECESSARY. DURING LNDG PHASE, THE CAPT DECIDED TO GO AROUND. TWR ADVISED US TO EXECUTE A GAR AT THE SAME TIME. THE F/O EXECUTED THE GAR AND WE CROSSED OVER THE ACR WHILE THE LAST PORTION OF THE ACFT WAS CLRING THE ACTIVE RWY. IT WAS THE CREW AND THE TWR CTLR'S BELIEF THAT THE ACR HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO CLR THE RWY.
