Narrative:
17 hours on duty; divert to ZZZ1; non-standard pushback procedure. Cleared to start saw tug clear. [We were] busy with weather and cockpit duties; lost awareness of guideman; started taxi and immediately stopped; rolled 1 foot; heard guidman on interphone; he disconnected and within 3 seconds was out holding pin; clear to taxi.

Title: B747 flight crew began to taxi before receiving a salute from the guideman; still connected to the aircraft by his headset.
