Narrative:

We were level at 12,000' MSL, 210 KTS inbound to srp on the srp 010/14 when I saw a white blur at approximately my 11 O'clock. I looked at it and saw a white, light twin diving under the nose of my aircraft. We had zero horizontal clearance and less than 500' vertical. As he passed under our nose, approach control called us to warn of an aircraft at our 11 O'clock, no altitude but squawking VFR. We reported the near miss immediately.
