Narrative:

I was working the D2 position at the ZME ARTCC. I was very busy with numerous aircraft inbound to the fayetteville, ar, terminal area. I coordinated an light transport inbound to springdale, ar, with fayetteville approach control descending to 6000'. I coordinated small transport inbound to rogers, ar, descending to 7000'. Small transport arrived early and was switched by the radar controller to fayetteville approach. Light transport was still at 12000' and obviously second, about 30 mi north of razorback at this time. I called fayetteville approach and requested them to descend small transport to 6000' and I would descend light transport to 7000'. Due to other traffic within and under the control of fayetteville approach, fayetteville did not immediately descend small transport to 6000'. As I was not aware of this I descended light transport to 7000' with loss of minimum sep.

Narrative: I WAS WORKING THE D2 POS AT THE ZME ARTCC. I WAS VERY BUSY WITH NUMEROUS ACFT INBND TO THE FAYETTEVILLE, AR, TERMINAL AREA. I COORDINATED AN LTT INBND TO SPRINGDALE, AR, WITH FAYETTEVILLE APCH CTL DSNDING TO 6000'. I COORDINATED SMT INBND TO ROGERS, AR, DSNDING TO 7000'. SMT ARRIVED EARLY AND WAS SWITCHED BY THE RADAR CTLR TO FAYETTEVILLE APCH. LTT WAS STILL AT 12000' AND OBVIOUSLY SECOND, ABOUT 30 MI N OF RAZORBACK AT THIS TIME. I CALLED FAYETTEVILLE APCH AND REQUESTED THEM TO DSND SMT TO 6000' AND I WOULD DSND LTT TO 7000'. DUE TO OTHER TFC WITHIN AND UNDER THE CTL OF FAYETTEVILLE APCH, FAYETTEVILLE DID NOT IMMEDIATELY DSND SMT TO 6000'. AS I WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS I DSNDED LTT TO 7000' WITH LOSS OF MINIMUM SEP.
