Narrative:

During replacement of the crossover beam; the parts delivered from stock as serviceable had been modified by the aircraft maintenance manual (amm) supplement and one of the guide lugs was eliminated. The amm item 4-B; allows a blend repair referencing structural repair manual (srm) 54-30-00. After repair; it indicates the replacement of the beam at the next engine change. The two documents are asking for different resolutions leading to confusing instructions. I believe the beams in stock would be reject[ed] based on these documents.
