Narrative:
Student pilot was in control of helicopter. Medium large transport cleared for takeoff runway 06 and helicopter crossed in front of medium large transport, missed by less than 500'. I would guess no more than 100'. Pilot crossed runway where he should not have been. Helicopter rq taxi to slope area nowhere near the active runway. Ground control advised helicopter to remain clear of runway 06 5 times. Visibility 3/4 mi in fog. Medium large transport rolled runway 06 and helicopter crossed in front of medium large transport 2500' down runway. Medium large transport advised that helicopter crossed in front of him.
