Narrative:

After arriving at pkb the aircraft as shut down and the cargo door was opened. A large truck backed up to the aircraft, at this time I asked the driver how much weight he had and he replied about 7000 pounds on 6 skids. I asked if they went to the front of the truck and he said yes. At this time I instructed the loader how I wanted the aircraft loaded. I told him to start in compartment #1 and put a skid in each compartment one behind the other. I then went into the airport office to call company for WX and release. The first officer went out the aircraft to make sure cargo was secured and loaded properly. I completed weight and balance and went out to the aircraft. The first officer had closed the cargo door and lights were turned off. I asked the first officer if we were ready and he replied that the freight was secured and we were ready. The first officer flew the aircraft from pkb to mci without incident. After landing at mci the first officer stated the aircraft felt nose heavy. When we arrived at the ramp at mci the aircraft was completely shut down as our flight was terminated. The relief crew arrived and was told how aircraft was loaded but it felt nose heavy on landing. At this time we were released and went to the hotel. The aircraft went on to lgb where it was ramp checked by the FAA. It was found that there was no cargo in compartments 4, 5 and 6. Miscom between me, my first officer and the loader resulted in the aircraft being loaded in an out of center of gravity condition forward.

Narrative: AFTER ARRIVING AT PKB THE ACFT AS SHUT DOWN AND THE CARGO DOOR WAS OPENED. A LARGE TRUCK BACKED UP TO THE ACFT, AT THIS TIME I ASKED THE DRIVER HOW MUCH WEIGHT HE HAD AND HE REPLIED ABOUT 7000 POUNDS ON 6 SKIDS. I ASKED IF THEY WENT TO THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK AND HE SAID YES. AT THIS TIME I INSTRUCTED THE LOADER HOW I WANTED THE ACFT LOADED. I TOLD HIM TO START IN COMPARTMENT #1 AND PUT A SKID IN EACH COMPARTMENT ONE BEHIND THE OTHER. I THEN WENT INTO THE ARPT OFFICE TO CALL COMPANY FOR WX AND RELEASE. THE RELIEF CREW ARRIVED AND WAS TOLD HOW ACFT WAS LOADED BUT IT FELT NOSE HEAVY ON LNDG. AT THIS TIME WE WERE RELEASED AND WENT TO THE HOTEL.
