Narrative:
On takeoff roll at about 45 KTS; the airplane hit a big bump in the grass runway; which put the airplane into the air. The airplane veered off the left side of the runway down into a swampy tree area. Nobody was hurt; but the light sport airplane sustained damage. Lesson to be learned very light airplanes are not suited to rough; bumpy sod runways.
