Narrative:
Shortly after leveling at cruise we received an ACARS message from load planning requesting a passenger count. Subsequent to providing it; we received a new final weight manifest with a zero fuel weight of 2;151 pounds greater than the final weights we received before departure.besides the obvious takeoff safety concerns; this would normally also have triggered contact with dispatch to recalculate enroute fuel consumption. Since we had additional fuel on board; this was not a significant issue. We continued to destination without incident. This is just one more incident demonstrating management's failure to understand safety issues being generated by a very complicated merger.
