[I] addressed a deferred item on log page XXX [for] (fuel panel leaking). [I] replaced fuel tank access panel 632MB on right wing. [I] should have replaced 532MB on the left wing. [I] discovered the mistake shortly after changing panel 632MB. [I] replaced the correct panel 532MB and leak checked. Note: aircraft did not fly; mistake was discovered and corrected quickly. [Also] had three aircraft go out of service in the same time period. Had another aircraft with a problem on the right hand side and inadvertently confused the aircraft.
