Narrative:
While departing sbgl off of runway 15 on the botom 1A SID; we got a green laser light coming in from the right side of the cockpit. It hit the first officer side; but he was not affected negatively from the laser. It appeared green in color and lasted only a few seconds. We did notify sbgl departure control of the laser encounter.

Title: An air carrier flight crew reported being flashed by a laser on departure from SBGL. The First Officer added a report of another laser strike in SBGR.
Narrative: While departing SBGL off of Runway 15 on the BOTOM 1A SID; we got a green laser light coming in from the right side of the cockpit. It hit the First Officer side; but he was not affected negatively from the laser. It appeared green in color and lasted only a few seconds. We did notify SBGL Departure Control of the laser encounter.
