Narrative:

In cruise flight at 22;000 ft we noticed a drop in left engine oil pressure. Once pressure went below 55 psi we proceeded to run the memory items and emergency checklist for low engine oil pressure. We notified ATC and declared an emergency. We initiated a diversion to [a suitable nearby airport]. We notified the flight attendant; dispatch; and operations.
