Narrative:

At cruise I was preparing for our arrival into dca and pulled out the commercial chart binder to review the arrival. I was unable to locate the arrival we were cleared on. The dca arrivals were not present. The iad arrivals were there in their place. After looking at the iad arrivals; I noticed that outdated arrivals were present. It would appear that during the last update; the dca arrivals were 'updated' with iad arrivals. I used the captain's STAR chart to verify the FMS waypoints and crossing restrictions and made notes on my scratch paper. The flight continued without incident. I also noted the discrepancy in the binder.
