Narrative:

During flight the right generator failure annunciator illuminated. Both the captain and I noticed the master caution at about the same time. We executed the associated checklist which resulted in the generator remaining off. We then reduced our electrical load. Next we discussed the limitations of the remaining generator as well as contingency planning in case the operating generator failed. We took a bearing on a few VOR's and airports in the area and developed a diversion plan if required. Once we reached 30 minutes remaining to destination we were comfortable that no diversion would be necessary. Approach and landing were uneventful. Post flight visual inspection revealed no apparent cause to the failure.
