Narrative:
Witnessed a MD80's take off from runway 01. After tower takeoff clearance; MD80 proceeded down runway and passed preceeding business jet who did not clear the runway (landed after us). Business jet was entirely on the runway side of the clearance line. He did not clear due to our crossing of runway to the gate. Tower controller saw the situation and tried to get business jet to cut us off in order to clear runway. He refused because we were very close clearing.

Narrative: Witnessed a MD80's take off from Runway 01. After Tower takeoff clearance; MD80 proceeded down runway and passed preceeding business jet who did not clear the runway (landed after us).
