Narrative:

There is a discrepancy between the FMS database frequency for the localizer 18 in day and that shown on the commercially published charts. The FMS shows 111.9; but the charts show 108.3. When we selected 108.3; we were unable to receive the localizer needles or the audio identification; even though we verified with day tower that 108.3 was the correct frequency and the localizer was operational. Flight landed without incident.

Title: A CRJ Captain reported the frequency in their FMS database for DAY ILS/LOC Rwy 18 was different from that shown on their commercially provided aero chart.

Narrative: There is a discrepancy between the FMS database frequency for the localizer 18 in DAY and that shown on the commercially published charts. The FMS shows 111.9; but the charts show 108.3. When we selected 108.3; we were unable to receive the localizer needles or the audio identification; even though we verified with DAY Tower that 108.3 was the correct frequency and the localizer was operational. Flight landed without incident.
