Narrative:

The light transport X was told to climb and maintain FL230 by the low altitude sector. Pilot acknowledged FL230. When the aircraft came on my frequency (high sector) he said he was climbing to FL240. I missed the error. I had FL230 locked in my mind and that's what I heard. The day had been full of personal problems which were on my mind and also effected my attention. Should of stayed home. The light transport xc got within 2.5 NM and 600' of the medium large transport Y. Callback conversation with reporter revealed following information. Incident occurred in the vicinity of hgo. Reporter was working a combined position operation with light traffic. Light transport had been cleared to FL230 and acknowledged same. On initial contact light transport said climbing to FL240 and reporter missed the incorrect altitude. Light transport was given traffic on the medium large transport at FL240 and also acknowledged that, but still climbed. Traffic given 2 more times and then controller saw the light transport data block exceed the assigned FL230. Reporter then reassigned the light transport FL230 but sep was lost. Reporter experience level is 10 years.

Title: LTT OVERSHOT HIS ASSIGNED ALT AND ARTCC CTLR DID NOT HEAR AN INCORRECT READBACK. RESULT WAS LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION WITH AN MLG.

Narrative: THE LTT X WAS TOLD TO CLB AND MAINTAIN FL230 BY THE LOW ALT SECTOR. PLT ACKNOWLEDGED FL230. WHEN THE ACFT CAME ON MY FREQ (HIGH SECTOR) HE SAID HE WAS CLBING TO FL240. I MISSED THE ERROR. I HAD FL230 LOCKED IN MY MIND AND THAT'S WHAT I HEARD. THE DAY HAD BEEN FULL OF PERSONAL PROBS WHICH WERE ON MY MIND AND ALSO EFFECTED MY ATTN. SHOULD OF STAYED HOME. THE LTT XC GOT WITHIN 2.5 NM AND 600' OF THE MLG Y. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED FOLLOWING INFO. INCIDENT OCCURRED IN THE VICINITY OF HGO. RPTR WAS WORKING A COMBINED POSITION OPERATION WITH LIGHT TFC. LTT HAD BEEN CLRED TO FL230 AND ACKNOWLEDGED SAME. ON INITIAL CONTACT LTT SAID CLBING TO FL240 AND RPTR MISSED THE INCORRECT ALT. LTT WAS GIVEN TFC ON THE MLG AT FL240 AND ALSO ACKNOWLEDGED THAT, BUT STILL CLBED. TFC GIVEN 2 MORE TIMES AND THEN CTLR SAW THE LTT DATA BLOCK EXCEED THE ASSIGNED FL230. RPTR THEN REASSIGNED THE LTT FL230 BUT SEP WAS LOST. RPTR EXPERIENCE LEVEL IS 10 YEARS.
