Narrative:

We were all just finishing our service. The number 2 and 4 had just finished the service and were putting away the galley supplies and carts. I got a call from the captain to take our seats; by the time I called to the back which was seconds we hit severe turbulence. The number 3 and I barely made it to our jumpseats; the number 2 and 4 didn't have enough time. Flight attendant #2 didn't make it in her jumpseat and came off the ground and was thrown around. Flight attendant #4; I believe finally made it to her jumpseat but was also tossed around before she could buckle up. It was severe turbulence. Maybe if the pilot had come on the PA and said 'flight attendants take your seats' these injuries might have been prevent. They forget how bad turbulence gets in the back of the 737. I don't remember the exact time of the incident.

Title: A B737-800 Flight Attendant reported very little warning about impending severe turbulence so two flight attendants were not in their jumpseats and were tossed around.
