Narrative:

Left trk to watsonville. Climbed out between clouds to on top. When clear of mountains started let down between clouds. When I landed at watsonville I was told to call ZOA. I was supposedly tracked on radar although I was to told I could have been lost in bay area traffic. All this was news to me. At no time was I in violation or knew of any near miss. The gentleman I talked to at center said he did not know what the other pilot was going to do. At any rate I don't want any hassles so I am filing this report. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: on callback reporter confirmed he never saw the other aircraft. He was clear of clouds at all times, and ARTCC supervisor was not sure they had tracked the correct aircraft since positive contact was lost in the sfo area. Analyst was unable to get any additional information from the reporter. Says he cannot report what he did not see.
