Narrative:

We departed on the O'hare 5 over earnd intersection and did not stay at 250 KTS above 10;000 ft until advised by ATC. ATC did not notify us of any issues with our departure and eventually gave us a speed of 290 KTS. I had the O'hare 5 departure open but thought that earned was part of the east departures and did not verify it. The first officer got a nagging feeling on the ground at our destination that earnd may have been part of the south departures and had a 250 KT restriction. I verified in the plate that the 250 KT restriction should have been complied with.
