Narrative:

After landing from a hover; the ground guide started waving his arms and pointing to the number 1 engine. Flames were coming out of the engine cowling at the exhaust. I secured the engines and fuel; turned off the electrical power; and stopped the rotor blades. The fire went out at engine shutdown. After exiting the aircraft I noticed engine oil covering the entire left side of the aircraft. Maintenance is determining the source of the leak.
